the internet is an issue because, although we were told it would work in our room, it really doesnt. they said it would be getting fixed today...and i have my fingers crossed because so far electronic things havent been working out so well this morning. the straightener doesnt work and a hairdryer worked, and then exploded.
yesterday i wandered around with my roomate emily and soaked in the beautifulness of florence. why is america so boring in comparison? we saw amazing churches and this little street market and the streets themselves are just so pretty. Im starting to learn my way around a few streets where my school is. Hopefully today ill get to the duomo and see alex!!
we went out to dinner last night and i had amazing penne with spinach and ricotta and a free glass of wine cause we were students. they were really nice, and i tried to use some italian but yeahh...gotta learn.
so idk what im doing today, emily went to meet her friends and i dont have anyones cell #s yet cause no one has them. so ill try to see who i can find. hm.
