No, seriously. Today over the course of 2.5 hours, Emily and i have killed no less then 16 mosquitos buzzing around our room. I woke up this morning with a frickin bugbite on my EYELID. Yes. I have them all up and down my arms, on my legs, my neck, my face, even my fingers. And they're sooo ITCHY. GAH. Italy doesnt believe in screens on windows apparently. It sucks, because our room is normally pretty stuffy, so we leave a window open 24/7 and just deal with the one or two that come in. However, with the recent warm weather, and now all this rain, i feel like they suddenly multiplied and are attacking us with bloodsucking vengeance. So now our window is closed, and its gross and hot and stuffy in here, but we're not getting eaten alive...
okay. so I just improvised a screen with a sheet soaked in bug repellant stuffed into the cracks n the windows in hopes that they DIE when they touch it and never come in.
anyway.
I got an email today from one of the Cafe owners in cape cod, which made me happy. Hope prevails!
Its been raining alot. Which isnt fun when you stupidly wear your flats out and they absorb every puddle you try to avoid. Hopefully itll be nice out for this weekend when I go to Roma!! and Emily's best friend and mom come to visit her. Shes very excited :)
