Yesterday I managed to drag myself outside my room and into the sun, which was by far the best decision I made all day. That and eating an amazing kebab at 3am. but anyway. It was GORGEOUS outside, and my friend Erin and I wandered around down to the Arno and it was just so beautiful. We wandered over the Ponte Vecchio and i found the most AMAZING necklace that I want so badly but will probably never get. had a really good milkshake, took pictures, watched the birds, stared at the river and the people and the sun and the houses...
And so, yesterday was the day that made me feel good about being here and re-sparked my love affair with Firenze. oo lala.
The sun can really do wonders.
In other news....
its Valentines Day. And even though for the first time in my life (sad, yes i know)i have a boyfriend to celebrate it with, and hes 4,000 miles away, i am feeling significantly less bitter about it than i thought i would be. so, yay!
Today Alex and friends and i are going on a picnic somewhere pretty, and then probably staying in tonight watching movies. which sounds awesome to me since i dont think i can do another 3.30 am night, and will probably feel bitter about today by the time the sun goes down.
I also desperately need to do my laundry, as i have finally completely ran out of clothing and anything remotely warm to wear.
