Capri

So it did get warmer, and in fact the day we went to Capri and Pompeii were the two nicest days we had.
Capri was....just amazing. I loved it. The water is literally always turquoise, and my favorite shade of it. We got there and planned to take the bus to Anacapri, which is the little town on the other side of the huge mountains where the Blue Grotto and the chair lift are. so we waited, and the bus was very late, and we were getting worried that the tide would get to high, or the water randomly too choppy and they would close the grotto. Eventually the bus did come, and we got off, to discover that it doesnt take you directly there, you have to find the OTHER bus and take that. So we decided to walk. apparently its a very far walk. However, as long as it was, we got to see some beautiful views, cool cactuses, and some giant looking asparagus plant. Eventually we made it there, and hoped into a boat and the boatman was funny. The way you get into the grotto (because the opening is soo tiny) is by having the boatman pull you in on a chain and you essentially just swoop in as you lay down in the boat so you dont smack your head on a rock. Inside is sooo cool. The water reflects off the bottom and glows this neon blue color, and our boatman sings and it echos off the walls, and then he demanded we KEEIS KEEIS for a "special picture. "
after that, we ate lunch down by the harbor, and then went back to anacapri for the chairlift, which was just breathtaking when you reached the top. the view was...idk i cant describe it. th sky and the ocean met at your eye line, and it was sooo many shades of blue . You were above the birds, and over looking down this sheer cliff into the water, which was crystal blue, and then over the other side were the bluffs and the town and it was so awesome. i didnt want to leave. we hiked down, wandered capri town, and then sadly had to to back to Sorrento.
