Alas, the Rain has returned.

Its raining. We had such a lovely streak there of sun and warmth and lovelyness, and now the rain is back and supposed to be back for the whole week. meh.

Recent Events:
I finally found H&M, and bought a light blue skirt, a pair of grey tights, and the most adorable dress thats floral print in this coral-y red color with grey accents. and i love it. (and both things go with the grey tights!) So needless to say, I was very happy and will not be spending any money for a good while. Unless I see a pair of flats because my old navy ones are literally falling apart. but i have time, since its raining.

San Giminano....hm. Well, the actual city is a really cool place. Its all surrounded by a giant wall, and looks like it was taken out of a Medieval movie with its towers (i think theres 6 out of the original 13 left?) and has a gorgeous view of all the vineyards and valleys. They are actually the only place in Tuscany (and i think italy) known for their White Wine. They use a special blend of Vernaccia grapes and arent regulated by the super strict D.O.C.G so they can blend how they like. They are I.G.C tho, so it gets a little green label and all the bottles are numbered. My wine teacher had told us if we were to go there we had to get a bottle as its very cheap and very good, so i did just that and also bought mom a bottle of "world famous" balsamic vinegar. The lady said its famous. idk, the bottles cool. Other then that, the entire getting there, figuring out the buses/trains/getting home thing was a bit of a Fail, but whatever.

Today has been a good day though, the roomates and I got up and went to Mass at the Duomo which was cool. It was interesting being in there for mass as opposed to as a tourist. I actually enjoyed not knowing what they were saying; it gave me time to reflect on myself, listen to the italian and just watch his hand motions and hear his tone and quality of the words he was saying. To an extent, I understood what he was saying from that. It also gave me a chance to see if I have actually learned any Italian lol. I really wish they had sang more tho, because they sang for like 30 seconds and it sounded so beautiful with the echos of the church and the harmonizing.

So we then went out to Sunday Brunch at this cool place and had an AMAZING omlette with onions, spinach, peppers, CHEESE, and other goodies and a really good hashbrown and a glass of cold milk and then a random plate of fries? But yes. we had great conversation about religions (we're all different apparently, Emily is Baptist, im Catholic and Caryon is Jewish) and it was really interesting actually. Emily was like, i feel like we're a joke here or something... a Baptist a Jew and a Catholic walk into a bar...lol. But it was really very nice, and i feel like we've been bonding and its nice. We're now listening to Disney music and avoiding laundry, the rain, and hw.

There are exactly 12 days, 10 hours and 12 min. until Tim gets here and i CANNOT wait.
