Sun, Sun, the Glorious Sun!

high 60s, with perfect, warm happy sunshine all day.

I woke up and went to work on my graphic design midterm project and realized that i really needed to do some more planning before i could actually do something with it. so i made some stuff up for 2 hours and then couldnt sit in a dark room with a computer in front of me anymore knowing the day was so gorgeous. So i wandered down to the Arno and sat on the wall over looking the Ponte Vecchio for like..3 hours and drew and people watched and just absorbed the sunshine and loved every second of it. a bunch of people with big cameras ended up takng my picture, which was weird. Id look up from drawing and someone would have their camera pointed at me and then they'd quickly point it somewhere else. lol.

Im really starting to feel comfortable here, and like i can easily navigate for the most part, and im not just a tourist wandering around. Which, the one thing that sucks i guess is the tourists are here. in hoards. and its kinda sad cause its already getting a lot more crowded which makes wandering less easy and enjoyable. but they're funny. i shouldnt talk, but yeah.

Random:
-i bought a butter yellow scarf and i love it.
-Florentines are obsessed with the color purple. obsessed. idk if its like the new "in" color this year or its just Firenze, but yeah.
-went out last night and danced and had a great time with emily and her friends.
-im going to a soccer game tomorrow, so thats should be interesting.
