Its November.

First, this song has been stuck in my head since I drunkenly heard it Halloween weekend, and its pretty kick ass to work out to. and blast on your I-Pod while walking down the street.

I really enjoy this guy's 100 Strangers project. It amazes me that he just picks these random, beautiful people out of crowds, and captures some essence of their being in a moment. AND make them look good. That's amazing. And why I love photography. Theres a store near where I work in the touristy section of Boston, and they have a huge selection of old photographs of the city. I love going in there and perusing the pictures, imagining what life then was like...who the people in the pictures are, what their stories were....who they ended up being. Its amazing how different 100 years will make a city. The core foundation is the same, but so much has been laid over and over and over, layers of new mixed with historic pieces. Love it.

I got to see some of my Geneseo friends. That was epic and awesome, and made me SO happy. But now I'm back and I miss them more because I was reminded, after FAR too long of a break in between, of how awesome they are, and how I am missing that here in Boston. I've come to find that now that most of my time is consumed at work, I haven't quite figured out how Im supposed to continue to meet new people. It was easy over the summer, just hang out and be open to any new thing that came my way. Now I'm sitting behind a desk 90% of my day/week, so the opportunities have become limited.

I've been researching grad classes in design to take. It makes me both happy, and really depressed that I didn't just TRY to apply and get somewhere with it as an undergrad. What was I thinking? Thats what I actually like and enjoy doing. So...why didn't I pursue that??

anyway. I leave you with this.
its interesting.
